The bloodline was developed using Red Alenquer and Green. The above male is a F3. The F4 offstrings are crossed with Tefe Green, awaiting to see the results.

Interesting ... can I conclude from your quote that the ONLY lineage is Red Alenquer and Green? Neither look like these fish. This would reinforce my thinking that phenotype (physical traits) aren't well linked to genotype ... really don't know what surprises you'll get out of any discus pair!
If you study angelfish at all, you'll find that the phenotype of pairs are much easier to predict and are well established and documented.
I wonder why Discus are less understood genetically?
