Would adding this to the tank cause a spike in nitrites?

Hi Jules,

IIRC Leaf Zone is just potassium sulfate (not nitrate) and iron. It wont cause an increase in nitrate because it doesnt contain any. If anything it will help your plants more efficiently use the nitrate there already is in the system. Maybe even to the point the plants need MORE nitrate to balance.
