Here's how my 135g is looking nowadays. It's a discus tank w/plants as opposed to a planted tank w/discus:

Back to the fish. Here's a male blue diamond. I've got at least 2 alpha males...wish I had some confirmed females:

That's really nice! Your fish look great and I don't see much algae in there. Way to go!

Thanks for the kind words. The algae problem was taken care of by a couple of albino bristlenose plecos. :D Here's a photo of the tank 2 months ago:

Nice looking tank! The chain sword looks to me like it's a Hygrophillia. ;D

Beautiful to both the aquascaping and fish. How long have you had it going?

Looked great even back in August! Do the fish seem to use more of the back area now that it's cleared out?
Nice fish too!

Appreciate the nice comments. The tank has been going for 3/4 of a year, but the plants have been in only 2 months. I acquired most of the plants through fellow, generous hobbyists! I think the fish feel more secure now...they often lay eggs on the sword plant leaves.

Hi Pete,
Nice planted tank. I have an empty 125 gal. waiting to be transformed into a planted tank. I'm just waiting to move into my new house. I hope I can make mine that nice.

Here's pic of your puppy LOL
