hi guys am i allowed to have like colour lights with my discus such as marine globe or any colours at all ? or just plain hosue lights

If you only have discus, you can choose any lights you desire! It does not affect the discus themselves. Different sprectrums will give the tank and the fish different and unquie appearances/looks therefore it may be personal preferance. However, to be cost efficient, just use regular cool white fluorescents. I have a 2 lamp 4' fluorescent that lights up my entire room rather than each tank separately. A couple of reasons for that! One, less lights, less power, more space! Two, because the lighting levels are lower, less algae, less mess! ;)

If you have plants, that is a different story! 8)
