colour fed ?

Hi i went to my local aquarium today and I saw red turks discus around 10cm fully coloured does that mean its been fed with hormones ?

not neccessarily,

I have some small discus that have developed colour quite quickly, namely an amzing brilliant blue at 10cm.

I also have a pigeon blood at less than 10cm that is gaining size and is adding spots (shiny faint blue) almost on a daily basis.

The only "colour" feed I use is colour enhancer from Hagen (nutrimax?) once a week.
