Nitrates, high limit

I am trying to work out a water change schedule. IYHO, what what would be an acceptable high limit of nitrates for my fast growing fish.

IMO less than 10, but less than 5 is better. Depends on the feed water as to what you can achieve also.

It looked like 15 B4 my last wc. Tough to read as I an somewhat color blind. I may try a diferent brand of test kit. Cant see anything in my tap water. To get a 10 could take two 50% changes per week. Any more than that would mean a larger tank.

Water is cheap enough. Glad these fish dont need salt. Two hundred gal. of salt water a month for seven fish?
