If I have never bred any other fishes before does that mean it will be very difficult for me to breed? Im buying 6 small size disucs and what should I do so one day they will become breederS?

I would just concentrate on learning to keep them alive first and not worry too much about breeding at this point.

a couple of words of advice:

1. Read as many books on Discus and keeping fish in general as you possibly can.

2. Listen to what people on this site tell you.

3. Use the T&E method: experience gained from trial and error is absolutely invaluable. There is no substitute for experience.

4. Be ready to screw up. You will make mistakes and some will be costly but if you can take a mistake and turn it into a learning experience then you will walk away more knowledgeable.

5. prepare to spend some money.

6. be humble enough to realize you don't know everthing. Everybody has something to teach you.

7. finally and most importantly, patience. patience. patience. BE PATIENT!!!!

Hey Ryan I can tell you were but you need to be a little more grumpy. I spent the last half of the day reading his articles and saving them for myself in case his web site should ever go down.
