I have kept 4 dicus for two years in a planted tank. two of the fish are large one is medium and one is small. I have feed earthrworms and BH in the summer and Bh and flake food in the winter. I do weekly water changes. BUT i have never seen any breeding activity or seen eggs laid. I have added warm water, cold water , live food ect. nothing.
I am at a loss. any suggestions .

I don't know how much luck people have getting discus to breed in planted tanks with weekly water changes. Let's see if we get a responce from someone who has accomplished this.

They could all be heterosexual females.

My two pairs breed in a gravel planted tank. The pair I have babies from at the moment(now in their own tank)did breed eggs hatched became freeswimming latched on to parents lasted three days decided to move them and they died. My other pair have laid eggs but I think like the last time wont latch on to the parents. When they try it the parents just keep putting them back on to the pot until they all die.Might have better luck with them when they get their own tank.

Cod, it may be that you have all females or all males. Do you know for sure that there are both sexes in the tank?
