View Full Version : Wild Snakeskin?

11-23-2003, 02:23 PM
My friend who also keeps discus told me that he saw a picture of a wild snakeskin in a magazine (he's not sure if it's TFH). Has anyone else seen this picture? I didn't realize there were snakeskins in the wild!

Peter,
I do believe that Oliver Lucanus was the captor of the first "wild snakeskin"...Im attaching a link to his site....he has two pictures under the section "Discus News – Snakeskin Discus"

I always thought that snakeskins were a domestically bred strain resulting from a random mutation somewhere along the way. I had no idea that they were actually found in the wild.
