Took some water samples of my tap water today, reading dGH=4, gKH=3 and 180 ms. I have this wild manderia pair that don’t want to spawn. I wondering how much reverse-osmosis water and normal water it safe to mix? Call some friends that told me to mix down to 50 ms.

I've done ph4.5 29us

can be done safely but you need to do it on a central with a huge bio-filter and change alot of water daily or it will dive fast!

Well i don't have a large filtersystem in this breeding tank. I have targeted TDS 30 ppm (60 ms). I will change 50-80% of the water daily. And se if I have any
response in the tank.

I use a "oak-leaf" water mix. Not peat! 8)
