This is a really nice picture of Nokoto's(Wayne) tank from the algae post - the plant in the background with light green long curly foilage- what kind is it and does it require c02?

That's a Nuphar species, probably lutea, but may be japonica. They're known commonly as Spatterdock and are a common wetland plant in the Southern US. They're generally tolerant plants which will do well in just about any aquarium with adequate light. Watch out though, they get HUGE!
