Hi everyone, i'm very new to this forum and i need some advice from you guys.

How do you tell if 2 discus are a pair or not. From my LFS, they have like 20 discus swimming together, i couldn't tell which two are a pair.

Is there any signs of telling a pair?

Thanks :)

The only way you can pick a pair of discus is when they paired off, laid eggs and are taking care of fry. Don't let the LFS person convince you otherwise.

And...even if they take a corner and clean a spot does not guarantee they are male and female or will be pairs. I've had two females paired up and both laid eggs. :) :)
