HELLO EVERYONE, JUST NEED SOME INPUT ON HEATERS FOR FISH ROOMS. MY FISH ROOM IS IN MY GARAGE. IT HAS BEEN GETTING PRETTY COLD AT NIGHTS. I HAVE A KEROSENE HEATER BUT DIDN'T KNOW IF THAT WOULD BE SAFE TO USE IN THE GARAGE WITH THEM IN AN ENCLOSED AREA LIKE THAT. IT'S ONE OF THOSE FAN FORCED HEATERS THAT SIT ON THE GROUND THAT YOU PLUG IN AND IT BLOWS THE WARM AIR OUT. IT WILL HEAT UP THE GARAGE REAL QUICK, JUST DIDN'T KNOW IF IT WAS SAFE.
THANKS, LES
:) :) :)

i'd suggest either a ventless fireplace or a small furnace made for garages, they make them to fit between the wall studs.
both are controlled by thermostats and come in lp or natural gas.
If your kerosene heater is rated for indoor use then you'll be fine. If you have any doubts, call the company that made it or don't use it. Carbon Monoxide is nothing to play with, even in a garage...
If it has a built-in fan then my guess it your are ok. But don't guess, ok???

Depends on how well your garage is insulated. It may be a good idea to spend some time and money insulating it properly rather than trying to keep the water warm plus the garage.
You can also get natual gas furances that are specially for garages. Or electrical baseboard heaters. However, like I mentioned, if your garage isnt insulated well, you will be spending quite a bit on just heating. ;)
