how do I check my messages/

Ok I'm new and have no idea how to get a message, please explain

Up at the top right hand side of the screen you will see . . .
you have 1 message, 1 is new

That is a "hello" from me. Click on the blue 1 message to read it.

ps. scroll to the very top of this page and look at the right hand side - don't click on the the 1 message in this thread ;)
