How do i successfully acclimate my discus into my tank. My water parameters are pretty close to the dealers.

Mr. Dude, what I would do is this:

When you get the fish home, put all fish and their water out of the bag in a 5 gallon bucket.

Add 1 cup of water every twenty minutes for about 2 hrs.

Make sure you have an air pump with stone in bucket.

Make sure you do this inside where it is warm.

If water is cool add a small heater for the duration of acclamation

Mr. Dude, if the parameters are real close, within reason, you would probably be fine just netting the fish and putting them directly in your tank.

That sounds easy enough, but i'll have to buy another heater.

If you are sure the pH of the tank is very close or higher than the pH they are coming from you can place them directly in the tank. Pour the bag water down the drain. Set the temp at 88 for the first few days.
