moving fish from tank to tank.

I have a 150gal. tank with 7 1yr old fish, I started with 13.I purchased the fish from a irreputable supplier and was forwarned.(any way)I am sure they had every type of illness known. some of them are very healthy some are runts one never hardly grew from its original 2'' all fully colored up when I got them. I now have 6 fish in a 50 gallon BB that are about 4 months old and they are already as large as the ones in the 150.I want to move them to the 150 but am afraid of what they might get from my existing fish. I have had no sickness in my 150 in 6months.

Put 1 or 2 of your least favorite from the 50 into the 150 and wait 3 weeks. (You may have to put in a divider if they harass the new fish.) If the discus from to 50 stay healthy you can move them all.
