are my lights scaring the discus.

I just put 4 blue diamond in my 29 gallon quaratine tank a week ago. Altho they are eating fine whenever the lights are on they hide in the back corner and turn dark. When the lights are off they swim out and seem like happy little piggies. I keep the temp at 86 and I am putting about 1tbsp per 10 gallons of salt. PH=7.8. Is this normal or do they just need more time to adjust. The tank is BB. TIA

Is it a regular tank light? Have you tried leaving the light on 24/7?

Its a natural sunlight tube. I haven't tried leaving lights on for 24/7 will that help.
