Is there a way to mark or catalog a particular stream, or even an individual response so that I can find it later easily?

In a particular thread, you will see a "Notify" button next to the "Reply" button. If you click this button, it subscribes you to a thread. This will email you each time a reply is made.

It will also keep track of all your notified threads. Go to the top of the forum and there is a "Notifications" button on the menu. If you click this, you will see a list of all the threads you are subscribed to. When you don't need them anymore, just click the check box next to the thread you don't want and click the "Update Notifications" button. This gets rid of the thread from your Notifications list and you are no longer subscribed to it.

If you subscribe to multiple threads by using the "Notify" button, you will see all of them listed when you go into the "Notifications" area of the board. This is the easiest way to "bookmark" threads for future reference... all you have to do from the Notifications area is click on the thread title and it takes you directly to the message.
