I hate snails,

Well, not all snails--just the ones in my planted tank. Is there something I can use to eradicate them without harming the plantlife and biomass?

Snails have a bad rap. I really like having trumpet snails in my tank. They never bother my healthy leafs just the dieing ones

I have been trying to establish snails in my 240 gal tank a number of times but my 2 Pakistani loaches and 3 Clown loaches always make sure that won't happen ;D not a single snail can be found

You can also place a lettuce leaf in the bottom of the tank over night. In the morning, it should be covered with snails, then you just remove it and throw it away.

Of course this won't get rid of them all, but it will take care of a lot of them.

you could try buying some blue rams! they love snails and leaches. jsut dont feed them for a couple of days and then it will be snail free ;D
