help- painting, wall repair

I have to have the sheet rock and ceiling repaired in
about 1/2 the house because of water. What can I do to protect the discus from the dust and fumes ?

Just a sheet of plastic over the tanks is fine. You shouldn't have any problems.

If and when you are sanding the drywall mud, get sander that connects to a wet/dry vac. It really eliminates the fine drywall mud dust! And make sure to cover the tanks and close the doors to the fish tanks. ;)
