Solar Salt as good as Epsom?

Well i was just wondering if solar salt was as good as epsom salt and if they work the same,its because i bought a 50lb bag of solar salt,and ive been told that they work the same,but if their is,what are the differances and similarities of the 2 salts?

No. Solar salt is sodium chloride. Epsom salt contains magnesium. They have different effects on hardness.
