Hello all

I am setting up a new tank for discus and I am useing 2 Hydrosponge V filters in a 55 Gal with no substrate. How do I get the filters to stay on the bottom? They are floating to the top.

If they're like other sponge filters I've seen, it usually takes a day or two for all of the air bubbles to come out of the sponge and then they will sink to the bottom. Good luck.

I would try to squeeze out all the air bubbles that are trapped inside the sponge.

That did the trick. I squeezed the life out of them and there on the bottom now. Thanks All
