I know this sounds dumb but I bought these from a breeder without knowing what strain they are. I have emailed him but recieved no response. Anyone wanna take a guess and maybe give me an example what the will look like full grown.

I'm not sure about the fish, but he cats ::) look like they are really enjoying the tank!
I am new to the board and just in the planning stages regarding Discus.
Best of luck,

Believe some are snakeskins judging by the amount of bars on em'...the ones with more that is...kind of young to tell what they are for sure...

The ones wthl lots of vertical bars are snakeskins and the others are probably turquoise

I think that they are snakeskins. I bred a pair of snakeskins a couple of years ago and 50% of the fry had 14 bars the other 50% had 9. So they could have came from the same spawning!

Snakeskins are slow to color up - anywhere from 2 to 6 more months
