how to know if the discus is a male or a female?
and how to know if the discus is happy or not?
please help me...i dying to know

IT is exteremly difficult to determine the gender of discus fish untill they begin to breed. Untill then, it's just sort of a guessing game.

If the discus are happy, they will be energetic(to a point). They won't be sitting in a corner hiding. They will be brightly colored. A darkened discus is a sign of sickness or stress. Also, their fins will not be clamped to the sides of their bodies. There are numerous other ways to tell a healthy discus from a sick one; many posts on this site. Usually a happy discus is a healthy discus.
