Here are some updated shots of a planted tank I started about a month ago...everything is growing like weeds and I have to trim three times a week just to keep it from surfacing!

That's looking good MoON! What species of Apistogramma is that? Congrats on the spawn!! With all those plants any fry will have plenty of places to hide.

Best,
Phil

nice!

what species of plants do you have in there?

and where did you get the cave? I'm planning on a few rams in my tank and was just going to slant pieces of slate against each other to make cave-like structures.

my LFS molds them out of concrete...shouldn't be too hard to do I'd imagine, just have to find somthing to make the mold with.

Red ludwigia, red cabomba, micro swords, anubias, somthing I don't know and sunset hygro...

If you're having trouble finding similar caves I can go ahead and buy you one and ship it at the cost of shipping and the item...

On another note, if anyone has some extra foreground plants that they feel would look nice in this tank I'd love to strike a deal, I've been looking for some but haven't been able to decide, baby tears seem like a really nice one, but so do the red pygmy chains...

Wide open to suggestions :)
