Plants on driftwood

Hi,
I have a large piece of driftwood which I would like to add plants, what kind of plants could I use in a discus tank and how do I attatch them. One of the areas on the driftwood I would like to attach them is flat and vertical is it possible to attach a plant to this area?

You can use java fern, java moss, bolbitus, and anubias plants - just tie them on with some thread. If it's a vertical location, most of the plants will continue to grow upwards (toward the light).
