Live coral AND plants?

Well I know it's not discus related, but I found this brackish tank really interesting. Has anyone ever heard of keeping coral alive in a tank with plants as well? Thoughts on this?

Those are Mangrove trees. They live in salt marshes and estuaries throughout the tropics. Large specimens can be very impressive!
