Chicago area discus club

Hi,
I'm from Chicago land, I know we have in the area huge # of discus lover's,
can we start a club? ( place to share info. discus problems and exchange
ideas e.t.c. ).
Please share opinion about this .

Hello paletka,
I live in Chicago also and think it would be a great ideal to start something. I do not know too many people in Chicago into the discus hobby. Most of the Discus I used to see @ the lfs were in very bad shape based upon what I know now about the fish. Sometimes when I talk about Discus, most people do not know anything about the fish and I would get the funny looks.

That would be great if that could get started. I went through a bad experience one time of purchasing my first Discus from a lfs and could not get any good info. I would love to know and see some Chi Towner’s getting together to discus their fish ;D ;D ;D.
