I just wanted everyone to know that if you are looking for a good looking and inexpensive tetra that does well with discus take a look at these guys (aka Pristella Tetras). ;D They come in two color morphs standard light gray or gold (I have the golds). Though not as showy as the cardinal tetras they make up for it with interesting behavior. As an added bonus they only cost $1.50. It is widely believed that they prefer harder water and lower temps. However mine adapted fine and even attempted to breed. 8)
