Our first was Blue... he's a Blue Cobalt.

Blue Turq (from Rod, i.e. sexy) - Bootsy

Blue Turq (from LFS, nearly died on arrival) - Lazarus

Red Melon (from LFS, orange-yellow) - Peaches

PB - Punky

RSG - Spot (*shudders*)

Yeah, we're suckers for animals around here.

I have 30 over discus in 6 tanks. By giving them names, it's easier for me and my wife to monitor them. If I'm working, I just tell her which ones to feed more, which ones need careful observation and which ones are recovering from sickness. I guess by giving names, it really helps a lot.

I have never named a discus before, but a customer (LuLu) was in today and thinks I should. So she is in charge of naming my discus!!

graeme is my fav fish. Hes a big german MR.
Babies over here are generically named LBs (lil buggers) except for the smallest runt who is called SPG (special patrol group) as i use him to test out new tanks. Guess i could call him test pilot or gimp or guinea pig or lab rat... or...

My smallest is my favorite, Sheefu. He's got the most character and was the first to eat out of my hand. He's also the only fish that I have right now with a name.

One of my favorite discus was a blue panda named "Shamoo".
I gave a beautiful blue diamond to my friend and she named him "Blu Diamond Phillips"
Two of my Wattley discus are "Gabe" and "Jack".

Then there were the bettas, "Betta Davis", "Alpha Betta", and "Al Sabetta"....sorry Al. Next time I'll name a discus after you and call him "Brew". You too "jeep".

My son first named them Poseidon and Athene, but when I took over I renamed them Ralph and Alice (the Honeymooners) because he's such an aggressive jerk and she runs most of the time but will turn around and let him have it. :D Janice
