are my water parameters OK

hi,
I just set up my bare tank about a week ago and was wondering about my water parameters .
PH 7.6
GH I cant detect it say it will change from orange to green but I cant notice a change I think I may need a new one
KH 4
temp 28c
40% w/change every second day
tank size 3x18x18
discus juv 6 blue diamonds, 6 red turks

Are you using RO or rain water? Buy a new GH test kit. Your water may be too soft and your pH may crash.

Hi Carol,
I managed to get myself a new gh test kit and I re tested today.
PH 7.4
kh 6 drops
gh 4 drops or 80 ppm
this is straight from the tap.

GH and KH are good. What is the pH of a cup of water left out on the counter overnight?

I filled a bucket and airated it over night and it has stayed at ph 7.4
