Uaru amphiacanthoides

As I was surfing the web lookin for other ideal tank mates for my Discus, I came upon this..........

Just Curious if anyone has ever added these fish to their community tanks and if so, any success!

I have a tankfull of huge Uaru, when they were small i mixed them with discus but as they grew they become too boisterous and the discus hid all the time. Lovely fish but imo not ideal with discus.

Uaru are a good fish with oscars - I saw a large tank with a half dozen of both species once at a LFS in Virginia. I know Al also right now has them together in a tank in his fish room.

I have no experience w/discus & uaru, though I'd think that any fish which could hang with oscars would probably, as Rod said, be a bit tough on discus!

Well then it is a good thing I asked before I acted ;D I just figured since they are from the same region and are
supposedly need same water conditions they may be a good addition. Maybe I will just stick with Rams ;)
