Look what I found!

So the Fedex dude showed up at my house yesterday and brought me a little box. Guess what I found inside....

You guessed it! The one and only Cary Strong came through again with some beautiful fish.. I only ordered 2 fish from GLD but I am really pleased with them.

I was very concerned when the box arrived. It was obvious that Fedex was once again very careful... NOT! the box was beat up and soggy... But these guys seemed to do well. Packed tight with 4 bags and newspaper around each of these big dudes. Here is the Cobalt... every bit of 6"

THis is the Golden Leopard Pigeon Blood.... He dwarfs the Cobalt in comparison. He is nearly an inch thick at the head.

Hope I didn't bore you guys but I am very excited and pleased with my new dudes that I had to share them with you. Cary thanks again. The fish are doing great... eating everyting that I throw in the tank so far and barely even scared of WC. You are the man Cary... and in case I forgot to mention.... You are a great friend!

congrats Peter. looks like your one of the first to post some of the new large size discus Cary is letting go for his bigfish sale. !! glad fedex didnt jump up and down on the box to make sure it was flat enough to fit through your mailslot!!
glad they are ok .Carys packing is great.

They're beautiful, Peter. Nice, clean fresh tank for them is all they need after a day couped up in a box. :D Cary certainly has some amazing (healthy) stock, judging by everyone's experiences and photos. I look forward to making my deal with him one of these days.

Thanks everyone. These guys are doing great still. They seem very comfortable in their new temporary home (40 BR). After QT they will be introduced to some young ladies ;) I hope they find them irresistible! : 8)

April ... I rushed out to meet the Fedex guy ... If I hadn't he probably would have. ANd I don't even have a mail slot!!!! THese particular fish are proven males I wish that I could afford more of Cary's sale . TO do so I would need more tanks, stands to put them on, a room to put them in, a house to put the room in.. and it just goes on fro there!!!
