Hi Melvin, I'd guess a beautifully healthy Male. I have a few at home also. That would be my guess, good luck with him or her anyway.........................Jim

pic taken when i 1st introduced it into the tank. size about 5inch

btw, I got the RSG from a LFS specializing in cichlids. cost me about USD40.00 ;D
the shop's name is Cichlids Forever.
It used to have a website but i think it's down at the moment.
