Shipping with salt and CloramX

When shipping fish, do any of you add just a little salt?

And do you use this CloramX?

Have you noticed a difference - before and after?

Adding salt to the shipping bags helps the fish tremendously. Too hard to explain fully, but it helps equalize osmotic stress. Never used chloramX with shipping, I have used Ammo Lock 2 though with great results.

Here there is a product called "Bag Buddies" that I use and a lot of shippers use. Meth Blue would also help to hold oxygen.

This maybe an off topic, but how much salt do you normally add esp. when doing a WC? Or before they travel?

i use bag buddies and oxygen and have had no problems really!!! Triple bag or double bag with newspaper in between the first and second and tape up the bottom corners of the bag... ;D
