Earthquake

Did your fish have any bad behaviour before an earthquake?What kind.Today we have one by 5,4 Richter but any kind of abnormality.

Hi Marien,
My fish have never felt an earthquake, but I did have an experience where one tank of fish was always very skittish..it turned out that my water pump for the house was the culprit. The tank was too close and the the legs of the stand were transmitting vibrations everytime the pump went on ( and thats often here!) and this bothered the fish...I solved it by changing the stand and putting a buffer under the stand.

Hi Marian,

Lived in California for many years, and went thru a couple of the big ones. Don't remember any strange behavior before or during, but could be because I was thinking of other things (kids were very young back then:) )

Did you notice any?

Thank you for your answer but I do not see any kind of excitation or agitation during the earthquake
