I understand the browns come from around Belem and Manaus. Does anyone know the actual rivers they're found in??

When it comes to wilds I think you can just about find any time anywhere :)

Especially when it comes to the Browns which is proably the most common wild discus.

Browns are for the most part found in the clear and blackwater rivers of Eastern Amazonia, From Santarem and East.
The Tapajos, Xingu , and Tocantins are 3 major tributaries but our Discus are usually found in the smaller tributaries of these.
They are also found in some tributaries of the Madeira that feed into the East bank.
This is a big generalisation
