I am looking for a proven male that I can pair up with my marlboro Red female. I lost the male due to an accident, all frys died and the male gave up few days after. So I am looking for a male around LA, (hoping to save on shipping and being forced to purchase more than one fish to save on shipping.) Let me know and if you could send pictures and prices. Red strains prefered. Thanks.

Hey Bamboo,

I have a 6" Red Melon/Tangerine proven male that I would like to sell (price negotiable). He's way bigger than my other discus, and the smaller female that he originally paired up with loves eating the eggs, so I believe he's totally upset with her and now chases her around endlessly.

The first pic shows the pair spawning for the second time. Second pic shows the male in discussion.

Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Bumblebee,

I was about to say the same to you.... I like how yours is an overall red color. :-)

Bamboo - I'm not sure how "proven" he is.... I just know that he is a large male discus with an attitude and loves to mate. All their previous spawns have been eaten by the female shown in the pic, so I'm not sure if the spawn was fertilized successfully each time. It seems that a lot of my discus are pairing off right about now, and I would really like to send this guy to a new home and decrease the aggression level in my grow out tank. I'm currently working on a pair of RTs, and that is already a hand full. =)
