Hi guys I just want to ask what is the best solution/ way to deworm discus?
I have a 125 gallon bare bottom tank. The things that are coming out form one of the discus looks like a white stringy thing and some of them are becoming finicky with the food. I don't feed them live worms, just fbw, tetra bits, flakes and fbh.
Can anyone help on this, plllllllllsssssssss!!!!!!!!!!! :(
I don't want to start from scratch again.

If it looks like this picture worms are not the problem. You want to treat for intestinal flagellates. Read this thread for treating intestinal flagellates http://forum.simplydiscus.com//showthread.php?t=34834

Tape worms are treated with Prazi or fluke tabs. Round worms can be treated with piperzine

Thank you very much for the information... after reading your article I believe they have intestinal flagellates, just to be sure i'll medicate the whole tank. I hope they all recover.
thanks again Carol much appreciated
