Hi,
I have a basic questions? When do you do when you have to move your discus from one to wnother tank?
1. Do you just net it out and move it?
2. Do you put them in the prastic bag and float it in a tank to get temperture equalize?
3. Do you mix water from the new tank to the bag in case the water chemisty is different?
4. Any other way?

Just wondering what people do in general:confused:

Thanks.

I stop feeding 24 hours before, net the fish and plop it in the new tank. All my water is the same pH and temperature.

If you were moving the fish to a from a high pH tank to a tank with low pH then I would spend a day or two lowering the pH in the tank he is currently in before ploping him in the new tank.

Yep,what Carol said...I check to see if water is the same, then plop them in...

The PH for my tank are very close but one of them I mix with RO. The temperture between the 2 tanks are very close, within 1-2 degrees. I will just move the fish over and add some salt. Thank you for your advise!
