Water Hardness

I just got my water tested and it came back PH7.4 TDS 233 and hardness
was 12 GPG ,I am not sure what Grains of hardness is as none of the Discus
books have hardness measured in grains? Does anyone now about this?

sounds lik u need to buy urself a test kit from ur lfs. thous numbers sound wierd good luck

TDS of 233 is consistant wtih pH of 7.4. I just don't know conversion of grains to GH - could be equal . . .

My pH is usually around 7.8, tds around 276, GH 12
