Are you allowed to travel by air with a box of discus as a carry On Luggage ??
What kind of drawbacks have you all found ? Curious to find out.

Thanks,
Roberto.

Check with the airline first,a lot of them will let ya carry on fish if they fit either in the overhead or under the seat..

Southwest will not allow fish as carry-on baggage. I was watching the show Airline on TV (not sure about the channel) when this guy tried to bring a marine angel on board. Southwest made a big deal about it (the pilot mentioned something about corrosion but I don't think he knew whether or not it was in saltwater) and the guy had to leave in in Las Vegas.

I traveled on Northwest a month ago with a bag of Discus and it was not a problem with them at all. Even the TSA at the airport in SanFrancisco was cool about it. Everybody will have different experiences but my trip went surprisingly well.

Continental was ok with it when I traveled w/ discus as carry on. But that was a year ago.
