Hi Tad,
I usually get my boxes from the LFS, just ask them when do their
weekly supplys of fish are delivered, thats when the boxes will be waiting for you. You can get the bags at the LFS too. As for the heat pads, they can
be purchase at a sporting good stores, like Big 5's, just look for some hand
warmers in the camping equipment department. As for using the Bag Buddies,
I have not used this product for Discus under 1 inch but works great for
the larger Discus.
If you can't find the Heat Pads let me know I can send you some along with
some bags.

Cheers!
Cliff

Hi Tad, how are you?

I get my 3mil shipping bags from JEHMCO, heat packs and elastics from angelsplus -- boxes from the lfs after their shipments come in.

I use 1/2 a bag buddy in each bag for 2" fish.

Cliff,
I'm planning on shipping some of my snake fry to "Jeep"...they are turning out fantastic...just over a Quarter in size at 5 weeks :D (otherwise another generation of your line is going to Mid America :) ..."free of course") Plans on my part is to keep a dozen and a half to grow out ;)
Thanks for the offer of supplies, but I should be able to find all of it locally!

Barb,
Thanks for the helpful information, I was wondering how much bag buddy to use, as Im shipping when they are at 2-3 months. This will be my maiden voyage into shipping :)

regards,
Tad

So, why using Indian casino silver dollar ? Is that sign for giving up casino ? That's a good news ;)

What is the secret for having round fry ? using the "discus shape gauge" :D.
Dont forget to tape your "discus shape gauge". It might fall down later :D.

David,
thanks for the kind comments,
Heres a picture of the pair that I took summer of 2004....I had one successful spawn about 8 weeks ago and have since separated the pair. The female is the almost solid red snake which I have currently paired with a Curipera. They have spawned a couple of times but no success as of yet. :)

Sorry to say but all of the fry are spoken for!

Tad
