I was wondering what is the mininum size tank for 2 discus to be comfortable mating in?
(was wondering if 15 gallons is good enough?)

I would say 15 is too small. I would never use one that size. I have successfully bred them in 18 gal tanks, but do not recommend that either. 20H's are just fine and is the choice of most professioal breeders.

29's are also a good choice

I have used 20H tanks for years, but if I was to buy new tanks, I would get 29's. Good Luck, Paul.

Hi,

15, 18, 20, 29 galls etc etc, but would be the ideal length, breadth and height? How about the minimum height for the water in the tank?

CHEERS! :D :D :D :)

Hi everyone!,,

Jack Wattley's discus, he breeds his pairs in 20 gallon tank!

I perfer to breed between 25 gallon to 29 gallon tanks are the best bet. does not matter any shape long or etc just follow the 25 gallon to 29 gallon.
