A month or two ago I posted a thread w/ pics on how I fabricated tops for my 20hi breeding tanks out of 1/4in plexiglass so that I could have the overflow tube go straight up w/ the prefilter extending beyond the top of the tank.
Thought the 1/4 plexi would be thick enough to prevent warping, and, up until a week or so ago it seemed to be working. Seems the heat the accumulates at ceiling level was too much for it though as the lids of the tanks on the top tier starting warping on me. :( Had to re-route the overflows to the side and put the glass tops back in place..
Just thought I'd let you all know in case anyone else was thinking about doing the same
