zeosand? anyone use it?

HI all,
I was setting up a south american tank and went to the pool store for some silica sand.. they had that , but what cost my eye was the zeosand.. its made of zeolite..the same stuff ammo chips are made off....and its porous so should be great for ammonia removal thru bacterial colonies.. Just curious if anyone has used it?

Hey Al,

I've never used the stuff but I am interested to know if it works or not. I wonder if it has an absorbtion point like carbon does?
