Nitrites ..peak duration ?

How long does it usually take for Nitrites to peak and cycle down ? two of my tanks have had high Nitrite count for over a week with Ammonia down to almost nothing and Nitrates very high.

I guess it all depends. Are you doing the fishless cycling? Doing any WC's?

NitrItes may take a couple of weeks. If the numbers are really high do a partial water chagne. No need for nitrItes to be over 5
