Just wondering, how long would you say it takes for a discus to grow 6"-8" on average?

Hi I bought some baby discus in June of last year they were about 1 1/2" today most of them are around 5" + .It really depends on water change frequency and feeding a variety of healthy foods. The more water you change the better they grow and the healthier they are.

Everything being optimum 1.5 yrs. They also continue to get thicker.

Yes, I cudn't disagree more to what have been mentioned earlier. Frequent WC and good varieties of food really helped them to grow faster.

My discus today is around 5 to 6 inches. They were wrigglers in late August last year.
