Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share some new pic of my tank. Its been through a big change and I still have more plants coming this weekend. I an battling an algae problem but hope to get through it soon. Heres the before take

Im working on getting new equipmen tso that the heater will no longer be in the tank, also waiting for my replacment co2 reactor to arrive. Hope you like!

great looking 55, how about some information on your lighting, Im considering a planted tank down the road myself :D

The lighting fixture is a Coralife Freshwater Aqualight 4-65watt lamps @ 6700k. I love Coralife fixtures, they are built very well and IMO are top of the line when it comes to a complete lighting fixture. I originally had a Coralife with 2-65watt lamps but needed to upgrade when I decided to go with plants that require a bit more lighting.

Looking good. Your algae problem isn't that bad. Keep the CO2 high and you will be fine.

Aloha Pete, I really like your planted tank. Can you tell us what kind of substrate you are using. I want to turn 2 of my tanks over to the planted side. First the 72g bowfront with my Altum angels and a 125g for discus, rams, rummynose tetras and a few bottom dwellers.

Very nice tank! I dont have any questions b/c everyone has asked them all....:( Oh, what kind of filtration are you using? Fertilization regimen???
