HI Everyone
Have not participated in this board for a while. I set up a salt water tank about 5 months ago and they have captured all my time and interest.

Last night my discus tank exploded. The water emptied within a minute. This morning I made a discision to let the LFS sell my remaining discus and just stick with my salt water tank.

I want to thank everyone for all the great advice I have been given. I learned so much about keeping fish and that knowledge sure made the transition to salt much easier.

Can you explain as to how or why your discus tank exploded? Did the glass break or the seam parted? Just curious.

Sorry to hear about your tank exploding on you, and, your subsequent decision to leave the Discus hobby :( Saltwater setups are nice too, so enjoy :) We'll see you when you again when you setup your next Discus tank :D
